Be Fearless

Good morning friends!

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was grand!

I figured it was time to talk about my absolute favourite quote-- it even made it to the homepage of my site!

This string of words hits with so much strength.

Firstly, it makes you look deeply into your soul to think about your passions. It begs you to look at what makes you feel alive. What is the piece of your life that makes getting up easier, that makes you grin, and laugh? What makes your soul light, free, and incandescently happy? Did you narrow in on it? Can you feel the happiness burning in your chest?

I hope so. I hope that you do have something that sparks joy in you. If you don't that's okay too! I would suggest getting out there and trying new things until you find it though-- life is that much more special when you have that piece that lights you up no matter what.

My next question is, when was the last time you did that thing? Are you making space for it daily? Or weekly at least? See, that thing that lights up your soul, and sets fire to your eyes and smile, is important. It's so special and you have to make time for it. No one else will. It needs to be a priority. Be fearless towards it. Be intentionally fearless and put a bit of it in every single day.

When you lean into your passions, skills, talents or things that light you up, it can feel selfish. You have to prioritize yourself, which can feel odd in a world of filling your schedule full of other things. But what you love to do matters. It makes you who you are; it's the difference between you and the next person in line. It matters, because you matter. And if you lean into it fearlessly, unapologetically, you show up better for yourself and for those around you. You will find that doing the things that set your soul on fire can inspire others, encourage others, or perhaps your fiery light can lift others. So it's not just about you. It's not selfish. It's important because your light and passions can change the world. One little piece, or flame, at a time.

I hope this message today inspires you to dig into yourself and allow yourself to be fearless towards your passions. Lean into them and allow the spark to ignite into a flame. It's important.

As always, be gentle with yourself,

Katrina
